It is with great pleasure that I recommend Dr. Joseph Berman. Dr. Berman gave me a donor ACL and repaired the torn cartilage. I am a sixty year old second grade teacher and I am very active. I hope I never need Dr. Berman again! But if something hurts, I know he is the man to fix it. He is a no-nonsense get it done right the first time kind of guy. His staff and PTs are awesome too! • I am a professional boxer….

Dr. Berman and the Arlington Orthopedic Surgery Center really helped me in a very crucial time of my career. I am a professional boxer, and I won the Season 2 Contender series with Sugar Ray Leonard on ESPN. While fighting on the show, I had a lot of pain in my right knee. The pain was so bad that I knew I had to get it checked out. After visiting with Doctor Berman and looking at the x-rays, he informed me that I had a huge pot hole under my knee cap.Read more
  • I’ve been involved in some form of sport or training since age 5

I’ve been an athlete and involved in some form of sport or training since age 5. Fast forward 22 years, and I find myself with a torn ACL, MCL, and about 90% of the cartilage in my right knee. My immediate thoughts were that I would no longer have the ability to exercise, train or live the active lifestyle that I had known and lived my entire life. It’s because of the people at Arlington Orthopedics and the wealth of knowledge and support I received, that I was able to regain my life back. I am truly appreciative and Dr. Berman, Andrea, and the entire staff, without them I am not sure I would have been able to get back to where I am today.Read more

  • Even though I was 65, Dr. Berman would perform ACL Reconstructive Surgery on me!

In March of 2013, I was doing a “Stupid Man Trick” and was attempting to trim a dead branch on a tree in my backyard using an extension ladder leaned against the tree. Predictably the ladder slipped off and I fell about 10 feet landing with all of my weight on my left leg.Read more
